In 2023, the Walter Dods, Jr. RISE Center opened at the former Atherton YMCA site, a $77 million project featuring a six-story innovation hub with 374 student housing beds. The Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (PACE) at the Shidler College of Business expanded into the 114,000-square-foot complex and offers an innovation floor with co-working areas, meeting rooms, classrooms, a recording studio, and prototyping labs. PACE fosters collaboration, leadership, and entrepreneurship, offering all UH students access to resources like mentorship, startup training, skills development, and funding.

In collaboration with our good friends at AHL, we assisted them in bringing their vision to life for PACE at the new RISE Center at UH. We brought our clients for a tour of HONBLUE and went over various substrates and methods that would allow us to fabricate and produce their concept in-house.  The final product exceeded expectations, and our clients were thrilled with the results.
