Established in 1990, Yohei Sushi quickly became a beloved Japanese dining destination in Hawaii. Thanks to the community’s unwavering support, Yohei Sushi KAHALA celebrated their grand opening last month.

Clarence Lee Design, a long-time client and partner of HONBLUE, reached out to us in need of assistance to print Yohei Sushi KAHALA’s collateral pieces in a short amount of time for their opening. Their original paper stock request was not available on island so we quickly pivoted and assisted them in choosing papers that would still align with their high-end design and that were locally available.

Together, we ensured all their collateral pieces fit together by acquiring the actual papers and mocking up samples for our client to proof and approve. Due to the complexity of the project, we drew upon the print expertise of our different HB team members from prepress, pressman, bindery including our foiling and embossing team to obtain the best results possible.
